A Revealing Interview with Micheal Cheney

How To Make Money Online (yes, even if you’re a newbie)

Have you noticed how difficult it is to actually get any REAL information about how to make money online?

Q. So what do you see as being the main hurdles to newbies being able to make money on the internet? What is it that’s stopping them?

A. To be honest with you I think the main thing is information. There is just so much BAD information out there. Scams. Cons. Just bad information that is leading people astray and wasting their time and money. I mean you get onto the Internet and the first thing you see almost is these get-rich-quick schemes. It’s not your fault for seizing these so-called opportunities as they are presented so well. And believe me - I know there are thousands of you out there who have been taken for a ride by things like this. People on my list have been telling me this.

.Q. Yes, you ran survey didn’t you to ask your list what they wanted? What sort of questions did you ask them and what did they say?

A. Well I asked how I could most help them. You know - I’ve been online since 1995 and make a lot of money online but I was keen to tap into their BIGGEST challenges and needs. So I asked them what sort of information they wanted to learn. What style of learning they preferred and how they wanted this information to be delivered. I was totally blown away by the responses - I got 1489 people completing the survey!

Q. So what did they say?

A. There some big common themes that kept coming up as I looked at the responses and all the comments. These were that people want something that is STEP BY STEP, something that is AFFORDABALE and something that takes you right FROM BEGINNING and doesn’t leave anything out. You can get really frustrated when you start investing in products that claim to make you money online only to find that leave out a massive piece of the jigsaw. Or they forget to mention that you need to buy X, Y and Z just to make their system work. And that’s where ”Start Your Profits Today” is different.

Q. How do you mean exactly?

A. Well, for the first time - I take you, as a total newbie beginner, right through the entire process from beginning to end on making money online. A. Great question - yes you do need to have a few essentials. You just can’t make money online without them. You’ll need your own website address and of course your own website. Q. So you don’t need to buy lots of different things to get started online?

A. No not all. I’m a big believer in doing things that are free! I started out with nothing, working from my bedroom in a poxy one-bed bachelor apartment. Now I live in $800,000 house in the country. My point? When I started out if there was a free way to do something - I found it! And I’m still that way now so I uncover some of these insider money-saving secrets in the videos as well.

Q. So wrapping up then - who would you say would benefit from these videos? Do you need to have a basic level of knowledge on the internet to get started?

A. If you can turn on your computer you are good to go! Seriously! You’ll see that I take you by the hand and guide you through every step of the way. I hate jargon so you won’t see any of that and it’s all explained in simple English and you can go along and progress through to the money at your own pace.

Are you an employee? If so, you should be aware of an emerging work place reality... the relationship between employer and employee contains a growing amount of insecurity. The hard truth is, job security is now really a thing of the past.

In fact, the very idea of "job security" is becoming antiquated. In its place is a new reality called "employment security". This relatively new concept states that if you concern yourself with being a valuable person and employee, someone that is of value to an employer, you may not be guaranteed to keep your job but you will likely be able to get another one.

While the original relationship between the employer and the employee will probably be around forever, in the future it will not be as commonplace as it is today. Many employers are starting to outsource some of the work that was traditionally performed by employees to freelancers and small businesses.

That's because with today's high speed of technological change, the necessary expertise to perform certain functions can literally change from year to year. In many cases it's simply easier and cheaper to hire different people on a limited time basis instead of continuously having one employee trying to keep up with all the different tricks of the trade.

This trend will have far reaching consequences for today's workforce. Even the more experienced employees will have to stay sharp. They can't sit on their laurels anymore because they will continuously have to prove their worth in new situations, more now than ever before.

Some consider this outsourcing trend a huge threat to their career. The truth is, they probably should.

If you are an employee, even a top-notch worker, it is time that YOU started developing a back-up plan. After all, it is YOUR future that is at stake.

So what kind of backup plan can you put together? Here's what many savvy employees across the globe are doing....

One way many folks are adapting to this outsourcing phenomenon is by taking the opportunity to start their own business. Many do this while still working on their day job, either full- or part-time.

Many of these newborn entrepreneurs start businesses that perform a function that was formerly performed by an employee. Sometimes people even come back to their original employer who has now become their customer! One thing's for sure, running your own business can earn you FAR more money than being an employee.

This raises questions for many people who currently hold a job. Which functions will continue to be performed by employees and which jobs might eventually be outsourced?

It would be hard if not impossible to make an easy distinction at most companies. It usually depends on many different factors like: the importance of the job for that particular business, as well as the ability to attract the right people.

If you can identify some possible outsourcing needs at your company, you can be sure other companies in your arena have those same or similar needs. Perhaps you could fill them? Why not start looking at starting your own business on a part-time basis.

Starting your own business offers many benefits that traditional employment does not. The number one benefit is that you can earn an income with virtually no limits. Plus, you can choose a niche that you are passionate about.

Imagine actually helping others directly rather than being a small part of the big picture. With most traditional jobs, employees never get to see first hand the difference they are making in someone else's business, or life for that matter.

On the other hand, when you start your own business you will not only see first hand the difference you are making, you are directly involved in the process while it is evolving. This is a very strong draw for those who seek and gain their gratification from helping others.

Oh, and have you ever noticed that the people making the most money are usually the folks who are passionate about what they are doing? Someone who puts their heart and soul into every aspect of their OWN business almost always earns the greatest rewards.

When you see someone with passion in their business, you will most likely see someone who is going to be around for quite a while or has already been around for a long time. I've noticed that this is a common denominator shared by many of the top marketing gurus today and it carries over to virtually all niches.

This brings me to my final point. There is no limit to the amount of ways that someone can make a living, especially with the emergence of the Internet, but you MUST choose a topic that is also part of your passion. Whether you choose to spin your new business venture off of your existing job, or you decide on a brand new niche, it MUST be something you are passionate about. This passion greatly increases the odds of a long and successful business of your OWN.

Why not take a few moments today and consider what you could start on a part-time basis in the new year. Ask questions at work. Take notice what jobs always seem hard to fill, and which jobs seem to pay higher and higher salaries. Find out which jobs are beginning to be outsourced. Once you start observing things from a new perspective, as a possible business owner, you may find a need and a way to fill it - with your own business!

Mentorship programs... the answer?

Mentorship programs are becoming increasingly popular on the Internet. Usually, they require a significant investment of money and time - but are they worth it?

Find out in today's gazette..

It is absolutely imperative that you consider these factors before signing up for a mentorship program. You may want to print this list and save it...

1. The Promise: What does the mentor actually promise to do?

- Is there a guaranteed figure or result, or does he just promise to work with you and show you the way?

- Is there a safety net if he doesn't deliver? (Such as a refund of all or some of your money.)

- Will you work with the mentor PERSONALLY? Or with his "helpers"?

- What exactly does he require from YOU in order to achieve what he promises?

2. Credibility: Do you have good reasons for believing that your mentor will deliver the goods?

- Does he have a background of success himself? Is he living what he preaches?

- Have you purchased other lesser-priced products from this person? Did they deliver?

- Has he coached others to success before you? Can he let you email a few of them?

3. Your Own Work Ethic: Will YOU deliver the goods?

- Are you prepared to work hard to make the most of your time?

- Can you take direction? Do you usually work well with others?

- Are you willing to believe that an experienced marketer can see your business path more clearly than you can?

- Can you stick it out for the full year?

4. Can You Afford It?

- Can you afford the payment without unnecessary hardship?

- Can you afford the time?

- Can you afford the emotional investment?

- Be sure to read the fine print! Some mentorship programs expect a hefty share of your profits when your site becomes profitable. Watch for that in your contract.

In closing... A good mentor can save you days, weeks and years of errors and frustration. A bad mentor can result in your losing money, time and even your health.

My best advice is this...

Before you sign up, evaluate the program and your mentor carefully. Contact him or her directly and ask the questions above. Check with a few past students and ask if they felt it was worth the investment. Ask what results they have had. Finally, if you decide to commit, be prepared to work hard to achieve the results you desire.
